Bloom demonstrates his pulling techniqueJason Bloom is a production potter at a local ceramics company, and participant in many shows including the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts. He brings his speed and skill with the wheel to his classes and focuses on traditional forms.

Greg Gill has been creating stained glass pieces since the mid-1990's. He creates a variety of stained glass pieces including ornaments, a variety of sizes of window panels, vases, jewelry boxes, candle boxes, glass doors, small table lamps, angels, and custom work which has included windows, doors, transoms, and cabinets.

Doughty illustrates opening techniques.Randy Doughty is a co-recipient of the 2002 Best in Clay Award at the Mifflin-Juniata Arts Festival. He began working with clay while studying at Pennsylvania State University, He has continued to develop stylish and graceful forms through the years. and continued his tutelage under Charles Hughes at the Creative Oasis.

Hughes explains proper trimming technique.Charles Hughes has taught ceramic classes and workshops since 1996 and is the resident professional potter of the Creative Oasis studio. His work emphasizes classic functionality and is shown both locally and nationally. In addition to his art, Charles Hughes is actively involved in the community in a number of ways, including his position as chairperson of the Creative Oasis, Inc.

Knott at Art Camp 2002Nate Knott is a co-recipient of the 2002 Best in Clay Award at the Mifflin-Juniata Arts Festival. He received his B.F.A. from Doane College in 1999 with a concentration in art education. Proficient in clay, painting, and drawing, he teaches many of the children’s classes in the studio. His work is exhibited both locally and nationally.

Kranc demonstrates finishing and texturing techniques.Stan Hunter Kranc is a co-recipient of the 2002 Best in Clay Award at the Mifflin-Juniata Arts Festival and an award-winning instructor in the Pennsylvania State University’s Composition Program. He divides his time equally between sculpture and the wheel. Stan Hunter Kranc also serves as the Secretary of the Creative Oasis.
